The Professional's Secret
Dogs love liver - these incredibly palatable pieces will distract your dog from just about anything.
Freeze dried liver is highly palatable. Dogs find it so tasty that they are likely to eat it even during stressful situations when they would normally turn their nose up at a treat. This is why many veterinary surgeons use it in the consulting room to help distract the dog and make examinations a more positive experience for them.
Liver is one of nature’s pick me up foods and some even refer to it as a miracle food. It is high in very good quality nutrients and important building blocks for the body’s functions. Liver is also said to contain an unidentified anti-fatigue factor.
Raw liver is often recommended for dogs to help with a number of ailments or a general lacklustre but in it’s fresh form it is difficult to store and perishes after only a couple of days, processing can reduce the nutrient levels of raw food. Our ProReward® liver treats have been freeze dried, this means that they retain all of their taste and raw nutritional goodness but will last for ages without spoiling.

Not suitable for Dalmatians.
Dalmatian dogs should not be fed with liver or other treats high in purines, such as venison and game. This is because they cannot digest purines properly and can develop problems such as crystals in the urinary tract. Dalmatians are unique from all other breeds of dog in this respect.
"My 9 mth GSD didnt like the treats at training school so wasn't interested in searching them out. I took proreward and now he enjoys the hunt. I also crush one on his dinner if he is a bit off food and that soon makes him eat. I get his total attention every time I get them out of the cupboard. He thinks they are great!!!"
